My experience at Crab House at Pier 39 was simply delightful. Nestled within the vibrant Fisherman's Wharf, this restaurant offers a picturesque view of the waterfront that enhances the dining experience. Seated by the window, I was able to soak in the mesmerizing views while enjoying my meal. Upon entering, I was promptly greeted and seated by the attentive staff. Our server was not only professional but also knowledgeable about the menu offerings. He provided excellent recommendations that truly elevated my dining experience. His balance of attentiveness and giving space allowed me to savor my meal at my own pace. For starters, I indulged in the calamari, which was a perfect combination of freshness and crispiness. The flavors were simply delightful, setting the stage for the rest of the meal. For the main course, I opted for the Crab Topped NY steak, and it did not disappoint. The steak was cooked to perfection, exactly how I liked it, and the crab topping was fresh, sweet, and packed with flavor. Every bite was a burst of deliciousness, and I savored each moment of this exquisite dish. Overall, my dining experience at Crab House at Pier 39 was exceptional. From the impeccable service to the delectable food, every aspect exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in San Francisco.

We had a fantastic time! The food was excellent, and they were able to accommodate our food allergies. We enjoyed the fresh crab, shrimp, mussels, and the impressive wine list. Elmer provided great service.

Spent the day at Pier 39 and we wanted to eat crab. After looking through yelp, we came across Crab House. They had pretty good reviews so we decided to give it a try. We ordered the Crab Bruschetta, Fried Calamari and the Combo Skillet (Double). Everything was delicious! We especially liked the fried calamari, and the skillet was tasty. My only complaint about the skillet is that the mussels are really tiny. I probably would've swapped that out for more shrimp. Our server was so nice and friendly and kept coming to check on us. The inside is not the fanciest, and we got seated on the outer edge where people were walking back and forth on the other side of us. It is a little costly, but we expected that since it's crab. We shared everything amongst the 3 of us and we were pretty full at the end.

One of our friends recommended checking out Crab House and we came with a friend visiting town! It's a little tucked away on the second floor and quieter than some of the restaurants on the dock level. I don't usually come to Fisherman's Wharf for food but was impressed. Our sourdough was crispy and warm on the inside; the tomato cream sauce made this the perfect comfort-food appetizer. Our fish and chips were also solid -- the fish was the slightest bit overcooked and the breading didn't really stick, but I recommend getting it with garlic fries. The super combo was super tasty and priced just about right for seafood on the wharf. The crab and shrimp were garlic heavy and had a hint of smokiness. This took a little longer to come to the table, but worth trying if you like seafood.

This place was so tasty!! My goodness those garlic noodle pairing with the seafood combo was PERFECTION! The combo is at a steep price but they know what they are doing. I def recommend getting it if you are in for a treat though you won't get as full of you are dying of hunger lol. Our server was very knowledgeable and helpful and making suggestions. His name was Eric! The dessert was delicious too. This place has VERY nice views from pier so I can see why it's a popular spot! I recommend using Yelp to make a reservation ahead of time to get a seat. Can't wait to be back!

Before I give you the juicy run down, remember to ask for parking validation! They will give you one hour off ($12 value) from the parking garage right by Pier 39. Almost a cocktail right there! Came with a party of 5 and ordered: - Calamari (5/5) it was heavenly and the sauce it comes with is prob one of the best sauces I've had with calamari. - Crab Fried Rice (6/5) so tasty and flavorful. Large chunks of crab meat inside and is not that oily either. - Seafood Combo Plate (4.5/5) it was decently good value for how much food you get. The shrimp was mot overcooked and tender. Had a nice smoky flavor too. The mussels had a nice char flavor too but damnit they were small lol. I thought they were clams just because of how small they were. Now the crab was seasoned well and tasted great with one of their sauces (Cajun butter or clarified butter). It comes with a decent amount too so put your bib on and get to cracking, cause these were delicious. Safe to say I'll be coming back! Great spot to take a bite after walking the Pier/Fisherman's Wharf.
